...and hello
Yuku! Yes, I've moved my premier messageboard off ezboard and onto Yuku and don't want to look back anymore. What yuku provides which ezboard lacked are the following:
- 1 terabyte of image hosting space from our profiles
- no cutoff on topics after 20 page
- domain hosting instead of having re-directs
- more keeping up with the times, and a myspace kind of feel to it
- If I read correctly: "Yuku is a completely free online service" which would mean no more gold community chest costs!
While I can understand there being resistance to moving off ezboard, all I can say is I don't want to go back to ezboard except for a few places I actually care about.
When comparing ezboard with other facilities such as the popular vBulletin and now yuku, ezboard seems like living in the stone ages. Lately I've also been a member of some pokemon sites hosted on vBulletin such as
Serebii Forums,
Smogon &
VGF. Yes I'm a Pokémon addict as I've been playing the games since 2000 and they just keep getting better and better especially now it can be used on wifi.
Back to Yuku, while I've been taking the time to figure out the newer features, I'm hopeful things will be smoother this point forward.

I got hit in my RenalCortex today, resulting in my PaleoCortex to collapse, reducing the pressure of the AlloCortex to the CerebralCortex, causing severe hypothermia in the ArchiCortex and lower NeoCortex.

...Jeff F? I remember the name... you used to go to CC2! You might remember me as James Dingo II there.

when i was growing up, i felt that making friends was periodical... the new ones i made replaced the old ones, not because i wanted it to be that way, but because it was the way it seemed. i hated saying goodbye but soon saw it as inevitable and learned to make friendly quickly and intensely. i moved around a lot, and felt that some people would be gone forever, and that life would seem like many lives in sequence.
lately, i've been overjoyed to find that this is not the case, thanks to a combination of the internet and the fact my 'adulthood' allows me more freedom to go where i please in the world. plus the fact that the world simply gets smaller all the time. thus, the childhood friend i had in cambodia gets to meet my high school saviour and my beloved uni flatmate.
it's so lovely reading what you have saved, and i thank you for safekeeping it. i like that its not gone forever.
best, sara (aka saskia)

ONCE YOU have BEEN HIT, YOU HAVE TO HIT 8 BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. IF YOU GET HIT AGAIN YOU KNOW YOU are REALLY FINE AS HELL. IF YOU BREAK THE CHAIN YOU will BE CURSED WITH UGLINESS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

Good to see you again. I saw someone on MSN Messanger the other day named Jeff, and I was wondering if it was you [I hadn't been on MSN for a while myself].
Anyways, like I said, good to know people from CC didn't just drop of the edge of the world [wide web?]

I take it that if you decided to watch me you must already know that I was Knuckles way back in the day.

Might've been Spindler, I used that name a lot back then.
