The only video game or related that I still actively play with after all these years is Pokemon. I know it's been around for over 10 years but yes I'm still hooked on this game where you gotta catch em all. I may not be so much into the anime nor follow what Ash Ketchum does, but I'm very active in the Smogon forums under the alias of "Expert Evan". Why such a nickname when it's not my real name? Well for those of you that recall from Pokemon Emerald that there was a random trainer named "EXPERT EVAN" who's opening line was "Every Battle Has a Smell!" so that stuck with me ever since I first registered it in the Serebii Forums which I hardly even go to anymore.

Other than that, I had finally completed my Master's Degree in Computer Science at Sacred Heart University as I had procrastinated in over 3 years to complete an Independent Project, which happened to be "The Obama CS670 Game" which I described in my previous journal entry.

So what next? I'll need to get on with my career and keep up to date.

I know the forums associated with Crash Bandicoot seem to be all but obsolete now, and while many Pokemon forums in the past seemed to die off or seem completely clueless of what is going on, I welcome all Pokemon fans to at least check out Smogon as you'll feel the activity that blossomed in many forums about 10 years ago still exists and is stronger than ever on Smogon.com
